Status On Dhanush’s Paternity Case

Actor Dhanush, who was born as Venkatesh Prabhu Kasthuri Raja has been issuing statements time and again that he was born to Tamil filmmaker Kasthuri Raja and his wife Vijayalakshmi. The reason why such a statement had to be issued by the National Award-winning actor was after Kathiresan and Meenakshi, an old couple from a remote Tamil Nadu village called Thiruppuvanam claimed that the Kollywood star is their son. As a result, the debate around his parentage was moved to the court.

Few days back, the court had ordered the actor’s body to be examined for the birth marks as stated by Kathiresan and Meenakshi. Two doctors were appointed with the task to identify the marks on the actor’s body. And, their reports have now come out.

As per the doctors, the identification marks on the VIP 2 actor’s body as claimed by the couple are not there. The doctors have also in their report stated that no mole over the left collar bone or scar in the left elbow is visible. They further stated that there is a possibility to remove a small superficial mole, but the same cannot be applied for a scar. It can only be done through scar reduction and not plastic surgery. Furthermore, only a laser technique can be implemented to remove very small superficial moles. On the other hand, a large mole that has been removed can only be seen as traces by Dermascore.

The Court has now ordered a detailed inquiry on March 27 after reviewing the report.
