“Can’t Keep Quiet Any More” – Simbu Lashes Out
Silambarasan is one of the celebrities who’ve openly supported Jallikattu. Thanks to the efforts of such celebs and common folk who protested against the ban on the sport, the issue has snowballed into a National level news.
With many groups taking to the streets to protest against the ban, a group of students today, who were apparently protesting peacefully were cleared by Police using lathi charge. Simbu, who got to know this furiously took it to Twitter where he condemned the actions of the cops and called for a press meet later today.
The tweet read, “Heart bleeds to hear about the latthi charge on students supporting #JalliKattu As a Tamil brother I am here for you.Cant keep quiet anymore. They have shown us their colour. Now we Tamils will show them our colour & unity. Wait & see what real tamils can do !! #PressMeet shortly.”
