Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar And Karan Johar Come Together For A New Film
Can it get any bigger than this? Superstar Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and filmmaker Karan Johar are coming together for a movie slated to release in 2018.
The trio took to their social media accounts to make one the first biggest announcements of the New Year. Two of industries biggest names, Salman and Karan are teaming up as Producers and this film will star Akshay in the lead role.
“Joining hands where Akshay Kumar is the hero and will be co-produced by Karan Johar and Salman Khan films, ” tweeted Salman.
“Coming together for a film produced by friends @BeingSalmanKhan and @KaranJohar starring me. Out in 2018,” tweeted Akshay.
“Supremely excited to coproduce with @BeingSalmanKhan #SKF on a film starring @akshaykumar directed by Anurag Singh…releasing 2018!” tweeted Karan.
This yet-to-be titled flick is to be directed by well known Punjabi director Anurag Singh who has given hit Punjabi films like Jatt and Juliet and Punjab 1984.
It’s worth noting that Akshay Kumar will be seen in Tamil cinema for the first time when he debuts against Rajinikanth in the upcoming magnum opus 2.0.
