Suriya Regrets Doing It To Gautham Menon

When we talk about amazing actor-director combos, we cannot end the list without mentioning Suriya and Gautham Menon. They both dished out blockbusters such as Kaakha Kaakha and VaranamAayiram. Fans went ecstatic when they announced that they’ll be coming together for DhruvaNatchathiram and the film was also launched with a Pooja in May 2013.

But due to unknown reasons, the project was dropped and Suriya released a press statement which said he liked the story and requested GVM to tweak it a little but he hasn’t heard back from him for a long time following which he decided to quit the project.

This caused a rift in the relationship the two shared and Gautham even stated that he was disheartened by Suriya’s words despite knowing his style of direction.

But it looks like they’re over the past and there could be a great news coming ahead soon. Suriya, who was interviewed by a TV channel for a New Year program, stated that he regrets issuing such a statement against Gautham and will soon rectify it. He also said that Harris Jayaraj, who was a part of both their earlier projects facilitated a meeting with the duo and they’ve decided to do a film together.

Suriya who is currently awaiting the release of S3, is shooting for his 35th flick, Thaana SerndhaKoottam following which he’ll join hands with Director Selvaraghavan.

It looks like he’ll join hands with Gautham Menon for his 37th film. Gautham, who tasted success with Achcham Yenbathu Madamaiyada is busy with Dhanush’s Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta following which he’ll be doing the dropped Dhruva Natchathiram with Vikram.
