Why The ‘Enai Noki Paayum Thota’ Cinematographer Left Gautham Menon’s ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’?

He’s made a name for himself over the years in the Malayalam film industry with his skills in films namely Thattathin Marayathu, Oru Vadakkan Selfie, Ennu Ninte Moideen, Charlie and Jacobinte Swargarajyam. Cinematographer Jomon T. John, who cranked the lens for director Gautham Menon’s Enai Noki Paayum Thota starring Dhanush and Megha Akash in lead roles was also part of the acclaimed director’s Dhruva Natchathiram with ‘Chiyaan’ Vikram, which is currently in production.

Having said that, Jomon is not a part of the second schedule or the film anymore. He took to his social networking forum to issue a statement on why he left the film in the middle of production after there were a few who were surprised by his decision. His Facebook post read as follows: “Honoured to announce my new project, Golmaal, with Rohit Shetty,Ajay Devgan,Parineethi Chopra & Tabu. But good things come with a price and so this time I will not be able to work with Gautham Sir (#Druvanachathiram)and be part of the rest of the journey with him despite trying to adjust dates and accommodate both, as Golmaal was committed much before. But I feel blessed for getting the opportunity to work with such passionate directors. Thanks for your prayers and love. #Bollywood #golmaalagain #unlimitedFun”.

Meanwhile, Santhana Krishnan, the son of veteran cinematographer Ravi K Chandran has taken over the cinematography of Dhruva Natchathiram.
